The origin of the Maultaschen is Baden-Württemberg (Capital of Baden-Württemberg is Stuttgart), but today you can find this delicious dish throughout germany. The myth says, monks created the "Maultaschen" to hide the meat from god during Lent.

We will serve the maultaschen with a tasty broth and sauteed onions.
